When it comes to exams, we all must have observed a trend that a student who has a lot of knowledge is not able to perform well in exams. Classmates and friends also share the same feeling, that a particular student is good in studies but not great in getting scores.
Fear of exam
Fear of the exam is one thing which erases half of the memory. A good student before entering the examination hall starts having anxiety and few suffer from hunger pangs as well. The fear in the mind of forgetting everything is a great obstruction.
Be calm
Always remember that if you panic then you will be at loss. If you will stay calm then you will excel. So ultimately you are the person who will suffer or excel. Therefore why not be calm and do well. Being calm will make you relax and reduce your anxiety levels.
Don't listen to anyone just before the exam
You can always find some scholars in the class who have always studied extra. Just before the exam they will hit you with so many questions, of which you will not have any answers. Questions will be irrelevant and maybe out of context, but they will be enough to confuse you or scare you.
Only revision on the last day, and no mugging in the morning
Always remember one thing that last day one should only revise the things studied so far, or simply practice questions or sample papers. Never do the mistake of starting something new. This is because if you start afresh with a new thing and are not able to finish it on time then you will panic and get scared. Next morning the last thing you remember will be that topic only. Revision is very important as that will make you feel confident from within. Relax in the morning, have a light breakfast and don't talk to any friend who is stressed or who might make you stress out.
Read the question paper thoroughly and try to follow the sequence as that makes an examiner check your paper in one go. Highlight your pointers, use black ink wherever necessary, underline important things and don't colour the sheet a lot. Provide bullets in your answer and don't make it very descriptive
